about

“Misinterpretations” is my first official project that I released once I decided to start rapping again the beginning of 2016. Before "Misinterpretations," I had a monthly series going in 2016 called “Out The Wilderness”, during which I'd drop a new song once a month - as a way to both get back into the music making habit as well as find my sound. One day I went to the studio in Oakland to record some (unreleased) tracks, and Bay Area legend producer Sean T happened to be my engineer. We kicked it off immediately, and he encouraged me to create an EP as a small introduction of my story and skills to the hip-hop world. He was so juiced by the idea that he offered to produce it all. And within 10 hours, Misinterpretations was born!
