In his latest single, “Résumé,” Call Me Ace continues on his theme of having two official résumés - one for the corporate world and another for the music industry. Specifically, this song is a personified outcry of someone frustrated with having to disguise what truly gives him life for the sake of what society deems as a “professional career.” It seems in this song, Ace demonstrates how he code-switches between environments in order to maintain both jobs concurrently while navigating the uncertainty, obligations, and external (and internal) expectations.
