How can a human be expected to thrive when they are confronted with demoralization and inequality? The recent social uprisings, stemming from years of systemic racism and oppression, has proven that Black communities are still perceived as invisible and inadequate. In response, Call Me Ace candidly reveals his frustrations and weariness connected to an undeniable truth of living while Black in America: one’s accomplishments and promising path (i.e. surrendering to Christ) does not fully eliminate the darkness casted by this country’s injustice.
